ROBOT CHICKEN CREATORS – SETH GREEN AND MATTHEW SENREICH – TO APPEAR AT
NEW YORK COMIC CON
Panel About Popular Series Will be Followed by Autographing
Norwalk, CT, December 29, 2008: Seth Green and Matthew Senreich are set to appear as Special Guests at New York Comic Con (NYCC) where they will be joined by Breckin Meyer, Geoff Johns and Kevin Shinick on a panel discussing all aspects of the popular Adult Swim series Robot Chicken. Now in its fourth season, the network’s Emmy-winning series uses stop-motion animation to bring pop-culture parodies to life in a modern take on the variety/sketch show format. The panelists will be available to sign Robot Chicken material in the VIP Lounge after the session and signing cards will be provided.
Green and Senreich have enjoyed enormous success as creators of Robot Chicken and they have enlisted the help of numerous guest voice actors, including Conan O’Brien, Hayden Panettiere, Hugh Hefner, Carrie Fisher and George Lucas, among others, to help catapult the series to fame and success. In addition to the Robot Chicken series, Green and Senreich have also created two Star Wars-themed specials: the Emmy-nominated Robot Chicken: Star Wars from 2007 and its follow-up, Robot Chicken: Star Wars Episode II, which premiered last November.
“This is yet another really cool ‘get’ for New York York Comic Con, and we’re pleased that Seth Green and Matthew Senreich, to say nothing of the other creators of Robot Chicken, will be able to join us,” notes Lance Fensterman, Vice President and Show Manager for NYCC. “These guys are at the top of their game, they have a huge show and following, and they will surely be attracting a big audience to their panel. I can’t wait to see it myself!”
New York Comic Con will take place February 6 – 8 at the Jacob K. Javits Center in New York City. Tickets are on sale at www.nycomiccon.com and more personal insights about the show, programming and guests are available via Show Manager Lance Fensterman’s blog, www.MediumAtLarge.net.
