Nicktoons Network Debuts "Domo-kun" Shorts
Nicktoons Network has begun airing the first official Domo-kun short films imported from Japan, launching the new shorts in a variety of international markets. The fuzzy brown title character is the mascot of Japan’s NHK broadcast network, and named himself after the first word he heard on TV, which is usually translated as “thank you” but can also mean, “hello,” “excuse me,” “sorry,” or “goodbye,” depending on context. One new short will debut every week, and the shorts will aired daily.
