THE MIGHTY B – NEW SERIES
Created and voiced by SNL‘s Amy Poehler, The Mighty B follows the adventures of 10-year-old Bessie Higgenbottom, the world’s most ambitious Honeybee scout, who wears her uniform every single day, leads her troop with a zeal General Patton would have admired and has earned more Bee Badges than any Honeybee in history. However, a bunch of badges still elude her and Bessie won’t rest until she’s earned them all. WOLVERINE & THE X-MEN – NEW SERIES
After 50 years of bestselling comic books, three blockbuster movies, a massive fan-base spanning all ages, the new animated series Wolverine and the X-Men joins the YTV schedule. When an explosive event shatters the lives of the X-Men and takes away their mentor, the beaten heroes decide to walk away from it all. But after getting a glimpse into the future, Wolverine takes the lead and reunites the broken band to embark upon the ultimate mission – preventing the world’s destruction. Wolverine and the X-Men premieres Saturday, September 6 at 7 p.m.
JIBBER JABBER – NEW SERIES
Who says that an ordinary house can’t be the most exciting place in town? Jibber and Jabber are two seven-year-old twin brothers with big imaginations. Everyday is a brand new adventure as the boys embark on missions in their backyard, from space travel to a hunt for buried treasure. No adventure is ever the same as their imaginary worlds constantly change to fit their wild and action-filled fantasies. Jibber Jabber premieres Tuesday, September 2 at 2:30 p.m.
LABOUR DAY FUN ON YTV
YTV salutes another summer gone by with a day full of viewers’ favourite series from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Monday, September 1. YTV fans won’t want to miss episodes and specials of SpongeBob SquarePants, Back at the Barnyard, Tak and the Power of JuJu, Drake & Josh and an all-new episode of The Fairly OddParents. After a cross-Canada search, the winner of The Next Star is about to be revealed. To get geared up for the final vote, YTV is giving viewers not one, but two, chances to catch up on previous episodes. On Saturday, September 27 beginning at 1 p.m. and Sunday, September 28 beginning at 12 p.m., fans can watch back-to-back episodes of the series.
Leading up to the live one-hour finale at Canada’s Wonderland on Sunday, September 28 at 7 p.m., viewers will vote for their favourite performer at www.YTV.com and by text message, determining who will be crowned The Next Star. A whimsical series based on the books from celebrated author and artist Holly Hobbie, the show follows the adventures of two pigs: the fun-loving, inquisitive, but very different best friends, Toot and Puddle. Toot is a young globe-trotting adventurer who is constantly on the lookout for a new challenge. Puddle is the backyard explorer of the pair; although he enjoys travelling, he is much more interested in finding fun closer to home. Toot & Puddle teaches lessons of friendship and all of the happiness a lasting bond can bring. Premieres Tuesday, September 2 at 10:30 a.m.
SESAME STREET – NEW SERIES
Treehouse is bringing Canadian youngsters one of America’s longest running children’s shows, Sesame Street. Children can enjoy perennial favourites Oscar the Grouch, Bert and Ernie, Big Bird, Elmo and the newest Muppet, Abby Cadabby, a three-year-old who loves magic and is strong, smart and funny. ODD-JOBBERS – NEW SERIES
Odd-Jobbers is a tale of the Mendit brothers, Osimo, Bitz and Bob, and their cousin Mia — four slightly odd but very friendly characters who live in the village of Patchville and run a small business, Odd-jobbing. Odd-jobbing is considered a very respectable business in these parts, a profession that requires lots of skill and years of training.The Mendits will tackle anything and enjoy nothing more than helping others by fixing, building, cleaning or whatever else is required. No job is too big, too small or too odd for them. Odd-Jobbers will premiere on Treehouse Monday, September 1 at 12 p.m. in its regular timeslot.

SciQ – NEW SERIES
Produced by Discovery Channel Canada and Smithsonian Networks, energetic young hosts Andrew and Paula take on the challenge of testing their SciQ based on a specific theme each week. Viewers will learn about science through adventure as this series explores a wide range of topics such as the future of living underwater, the magic of movie making and how a detective investigates a crime scene. WILLA’S WILD LIFE – NEW SERIES

So far, this six-year-old critter collector has adopted a giraffe, a couple of elephants, an alligator and so many other exotic animals, there’s barely room in Willa’s room for Willa! Willa’s animals are not just her friends, they offer Willa advice and counsel, giving her their unique and often humorous takes on problem-solving.
