PR: Adult Swim Ranks #1 in First Quarter Total Day Delivery of Young Adults 18-34

Reclaiming its #1 ranking among all basic cable networks, Adult Swim took the 1st Quarter total day delivery crown among its targeted young adult demos including adults 18-34, adults 18-24, men 18-34 and men 18-24, according to preliminary data from Nielsen Media Research. Since becoming an individually-rated network in second quarter ’05, the late-night network has ranked #1 in total day delivery of adults 18-34 for 10 of the last 12 quarters, #1 among men 18-34 for nine of the last 12 quarters, and #1 among adults 18-24 and men 18-24 across all 12 quarters.

Among Adult Swim’s programming highlights, the Feb. 24 telecast of Family Guy (11 p.m.) was the most-watched telecast of the quarter among adults 18-34 (1,388,000). Similarly, the March 5 telecast of Family Guy (11:30 p.m.) delivered the largest audience of men 18-34 (955,000).

Adult Swim (AdultSwim.com), launched in 2001, is Turner Broadcasting System, Inc.’s network offering original and acquired animated comedy and action series for young adults.
