NYCC 2008: The Black Panel - "Black Panther," "Hannibal," and BET vs. "The Boondocks"

Saving the best for last, the Black Panel closed out Friday at the New York Comic Con. The panel was moderated by the ever-entertaining Michael Davis, exective vice president for Urban Ministries and a weekly columnist for ComicMix.com. He was joined by Cheryl Lynn Eaton, the founder of the Ormes Society, named for first female African-American cartoonist to have her own daily newspaper comic strip; Rashida Lewis, founder of New Wave Enterprise and creator of the comic book Sandstorm; Mike Gold, the editor of ComicMix.com and a longtime veteran of the comic book industry; and Denys Cowan, Senior Vice President of animation at BET Networks and veteran comic book artist.
