Treehouse Welcomes Two New Animated Series to the Schedule
(January 9, 2008 – Toronto , Canada ) This February, viewers get comfortable at home as YTV and Treehouse bring more new programming, events and specials, including an all-new season of the Canadian original production Ghost Trackers hosted by Joe MacLeod, plus Time Travel Day, a bouquet of Valentine’s specials, and two new animated series: My Friend Rabbit and Fifi and the Flowertots.

GHOST TRACKERS – SEASON THREE
Could you last in a haunted house all by yourself? Twelve new kids compete through a series of investigations using paranormal research equipment to track spirits in real haunted locations in an all new season of the popular reality series Ghost Trackers. Hosted by teen heartthrob Joe MacLeod, season three will bring viewers more ghosts, spooks and scares than ever before! Produced by CCI Entertainment in association with YTV, the third season of this Canadian series premieres in its regular YTV time slot Friday, February 1 at 7 p.m.
From February 10 to February 14 YTV is celebrating love with a week filled with crushes and first kisses. The lovey-dovey lineup includes themed episodes from Nickelodeon’s SpongeBob SquarePants, The Naked Brothers Band, iCarly starring Amanda Cosgrove (School of Rock) and Just Jordan starring comedian Lil’ JJ (Beauty Shop) as well as the premiere of the blockbuster film The Perfect Man starring Hilary Duff and Heather Locklear.
And Valentine’s just wouldn’t be the same without those beloved Charlie Brown specials! Tune in as YTV brings viewers the classic Be My Valentine, Charlie Brown and A Charlie Brown Valentine.
BE MY VALENTINE, CHARLIE BROWN
Love is in the air, but where are Charlie Brown’s valentines? Though he’s longing for some sort of love poem from the Little Red-Haired Girl, Charlie Brown would settle for a card from anyone! Meanwhile Linus’ crush on his teacher, Miss Othmar, has him desperate to get her just the right Valentine’s gift. Be My Valentine, Charlie Brown airs Thursday, February 14 at 6 p.m.
A CHARLIE BROWN VALENTINE
The Peanuts gang is looking for love in A Charlie Brown Valentine, airing Thursday, February 14 at 6:30 p.m. Lovesick Charlie Brown hopes – still – to get a valentine from the Little Red-Haired Girl, as does Sally from Linus, Lucy from Schroeder and Peppermint Patty from Charlie Brown.
THE PERFECT MAN – PREMIERE
Teenager Holly Hamilton (Hilary Duff) is tired of moving every time her single mom Jean (Heather Locklear) has another personal meltdown involving yet another second-rate guy. To solve the problem, Holly conceives the perfect plan: an imaginary secret admirer who will romance Jean and boost her self-esteem. When the virtual relationship takes off, Holly finds herself having to produce the suitor, and borrows her friend’s charming and handsome Uncle Ben (Chris Noth). The Perfect Man premieres on YTV Sunday, February 10 at 6 p.m.
TIME TRAVEL DAY IN THE ZONE – FEBRUARY 29, 2008
February 29 only comes every four years and YTV is celebrating the leap year with a special programming event – Time Travel Day. Featuring exciting time travel-themed episodes from hit favourites, Time Travel Day will take viewers back in time Friday, February 29 in The Zone hosted by Carlos and Joyce from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.

FIFI AND THE FLOWERTOTS – NEW SERIES
Fifi and her amazing group of Flowertot friends live in Flowertot Garden . Since Flowertots are small, everything around them appears to be huge! Fifi and the Flowertots love the outdoors and through Fifi’s fine example, children can learn to care for and explore the natural world. From HIT Entertainment, the producers behind Bob the Builder™, Fifi and the Flowertots will air Monday to Friday at 6:20 p.m. beginning Monday, February 25.

MY FRIEND RABBIT – NEW SERIES
Welcome to the adventures of two ebullient heroes, Mouse and Rabbit – best friends through thick and thin. In these unique stories based on Eric Rohmann’s award-winning book, this Canadian original series shows children that curiosity, friendship and creativity can make problem-solving fun! It’s the whimsical journey rather than destination that Rabbit, Mouse and their friends love most and no idea is too wacky or quirky for this group of critters to try. Aimed at kids three to six, this new 2-D Nelvana-produced series premieres on Treehouse Tuesday, February 26 at 8 a.m. in its regular timeslot.

FRANKLIN: FRANKLIN ‘S VALENTINE
During the classroom Valentine’s Day party, Franklin makes the distressing discovery that his handmade cards were lost on the way to school. But Franklin ‘s classmates are so understanding that he decides to celebrate their friendship in a special way. Airs Thursday, February 14 at 7:30 p.m.
MAX & RUBY – VALENTINE
Valentine’s Day is a busy time for Ruby and Louise who make special Valentine cards for all their Bunny Scout friends. Max wants to make a Valentine but he’s too little to use scissors and glue, so Ruby gives Max the important job of taking her Valentines to the mail box – and Max ends up making a special delivery of his own.
