VIZ Pictures To Own Its Own Movie Theater in San Francisco

VIZ Pictures, a subsidiary of VIZ Media specializing in theatrical films, has announced that they will become the owners of a new 150-seat movie theater being built in the J-Pop Center in San Francisco. As part of a Japanese pop culture center development, the theater will specialize in little-seen in the US Japanese movies. The theater will feature a full THX certified digital sound set up and both film and digital presentation systems. The J-Pop Center, which will also include a cafe, bookstore and several fashion shops, is being built in the heart of Japan Town in San Francisco.
