PR: Ben 10: Race Against Time Attracts 13 Million Viewers 2+ Thanksgiving Weekend
Ben 10: Race Against Time continued to show its muscle across the Thanksgiving weekend as the original live-action movie special drew more than 13 million different viewers ages 2+ across its Thanksgiving weekend presentations (Nov. 21-25), according to preliminary data from Nielsen Media Research. The Wednesday night premiere (Nov. 21, 8 p.m.) scored as the #1 telecast of the week on cable and broadcast television among boys 6-11 and boys 2-11. Ben 10: Race Against Time also set new records as the most-watched telecast in Cartoon Network history. Additionally, Cartoon Network posted its most-watched day ever in total day delivery—Wednesday, Nov. 21—with kids 6-11 (785,000), kids 2-11 (1,101,000), boys 6-11 (615,000) and boys 2-11 (840,000).
Coupled with the premiere, encore presentations of Ben 10: Race Against Time on Wednesday (9:30 p.m.), Friday (8 p.m.), Saturday (10 a.m. and 7:30 p.m.) and Sunday (6 p.m.) attracted 13,032,000 unduplicated viewers ages 2+. The Saturday morning airing also lifted the branded morning franchise “Dynamite Action Squad” (Saturdays, 9 a.m.-12 p.m.) by double-digits across kids 6-11 (both delivery and ratings up 18%), kids 2-11 (delivery up 10%, ratings up 11%), boys 6-11 (delivery up 20%, ratings up 18%) and boys 2-11 (delivery up 16%, ratings up 15%).

- Kids 2-11 delivery (2,084,000) improved by 137%, and ratings (5.2) by 136—top performance since Jan. 2002
- Boys 6-11 delivery (1,210,000) expanded by 122%, and ratings (9.7) by 120%—tied best performance in 2001
- Boys 2-11 delivery (1,621,000) catapulted by 142%, and ratings (7.9) by 139%—best performance in Cartoon Network history
Ben 10: Race Against Time is Cartoon Network’s first live-action made-for-TV movie based on its hit animated action-adventure series, Ben 10, about a young boy, who with the flick of a powerful alien wristwatch (The Omnitrix) can turn into 10 different aliens with amazing superpowers.
