Live Action ‘Dragon Ball Z’ to shoot in Durango, Mexico

Under director James Wong, 85% of the live action Dragon Ball Z motion picture will be shot in Durango, Mexico. Expected to film in 2008, the film’s FX director is Ariel Shaw.

Dragon Ball Z is a late eighties-mid nineties Japanese animated franchise based off of Akira Toriyama’s original Manga, Dragon Ball, which ran for eleven years in Shueisha’s Weekly Shônen JUMP.
