July 31, 2007, from Genius Products LLC and ClassicMedia, The Archie Show: The Complete Series collects all 17 episodes from the original 1968 animated series on 2-Discs, featuring the zany antics of Jughead, Betty, Veronica, Reggie, and the far-out “Archie’s” band. The Archie Show: The Complete Series DVD collection will be available for $26.95 SRP.
The Riverdale kids are certainly benefiting from the new millennium with a complete digital restoration! There’s also a collectible twelve-page booklet which includes a reproduction of the very first “Everything’s Archie” comic book and the not-to-be-missed “Lou Schiemer: The Making of The Archie Show” an exclusive behind-the-scenes interview with the executive producer of The Archie Show. The DVD also includes a media gallery filled with original sketch and color artwork along with a jukebox feature where fans can listen to every song from all 17 episodes.
