“MY FRIENDS TIGGER & POOH” DELIVERS IMPRESSIVE DOUBLE-DIGIT GROWTH OVER YEAR-AGO TIME PERIOD DELIVERIES IN TARGET DEMOS

On its premiere weekend, all-new Playhouse Disney series “My Friends Tigger & Pooh” stood as the week’s No. 1 TV series (broadcast and basic cable) in Kids 2-5 (847000/5.4 rating), as both outings easily dominated its time period competition, beating runner-up Nick in both instances by solid double-digit percentages.

Saturday’s series debut of “My Friends Tigger & Pooh” dominated its time period, ranking as TV’s No. 1 program (broadcast and basic cable) in Kids 2-5 (928,000/5.7 rating), beating runner-up Nick by a considerable 21% (766,000/4.8 rating).

Sunday’s all-new episode of “My Friends Tigger & Pooh” easily ranked as TV’s No. 1 program in the half-hour in Kids 2-5 (765,000/4.8 rating), beating No. 2 Nick by a substantial 26% (605,000/3.8 rating).

On Saturday (5/12/07), Disney Channel aired 4 of TV’s Top 5 programs in Kids 2-5 with back-to-back telecasts of “Mickey Mouse Clubhouse,” (1.0 million/6.5 rating, 9:30-10:00 a.m.; 964,000/6.1 rating, 9:00-9:25 a.m.), the series launch of “My Friends Tigger & Pooh” (928,000/5.9 rating) and “Little Einsteins” (774,000/4.9 rating, 8:00-8:30 a.m.).

On Sunday (5/13/07), Disney Channel delivered the Top 6 TV shows in Kids 2-5 with the “Mickey Mouse Clubhouse” block (919,000/5.8 rating, 9:00-9:25 a.m.; 819,000/5.2 rating, 9:30-10:00 a.m.), an all-new episode of “My Friends Tigger & Pooh” (765,000/4.8 rating), “Little Einsteins” (725,000/4.6 rating, 8:30-9:00 a.m.), “Handy Manny” (686,000/4.3 rating, 10:30-10:55 a.m.) and “Johnny and the Sprites” (658,000/4.2 rating, 11:00-11:25 a.m.).

For the week of May 7-13, 2007, Playhouse Disney series “My Friends Tigger & Pooh” (847,000/5.4 rating) and “Mickey Mouse Clubhouse” (814,000/5.2 rating) finished as TV’s Top 2 most-watched programs (broadcast and basic cable) in Kids 2-5.

Saturday’s series launch of “My Friends Tigger & Pooh” (10:00-10:25 a.m.) qualifies as the second-most-watched Playhouse Disney series debut of all time in the daypart in Total Viewers (2.4 million), behind only “Handy Manny” (2.6 million, 9/16/06).

On average, “My Friends Tigger & Pooh” delivered impressive double-digit gains over year-ago time period levels (5/13/06-5/14/06), increasing by 69% in Kids 2-5 (847,000/5.4 rating vs. 502,000/3.2 rating) and by 57% in Total Viewers (2.2 million vs. 1.4 million).

Saturday’s series launch (10:00-10:25 a.m.) topped year-ago benchmarks by 80% in Kids 2-5 (928,000/5.9 rating vs. 516,000/3.3 rating) and by 60% in Total Viewers (2.4 million vs. 1.5 million).

Sunday’s all-new episode (10:00-10:25 a.m.) surpassed year-ago time period deliveries by 56% in Kids 2-5 (765,000/4.8 rating vs. 491,000/3.1 rating) and by 73% in Total Viewers (1.9 million vs. 1.1 million).
