LA Times Damns "Aqua Teen" Movie with Faint Praise

The Los Angeles Times has taken a look at the Aqua Teen Hunger Force movie in advance of its opening in theaters this Friday, April 13, 2007 (free registration required), briefly touching on the show’s demographic and the sensibilities (or lack of them) of the show’s creators, Matt Maiellaro and Dave Willis. The article also notes the brutal reception the film has received from on-line critics, and describes the film as “incomprehensible”, stating “To an outsider, this is either self-indulgent bad writing or fodder for bong hits and acid trips.”
