Graphic Novels Estimated To Have Outsold Comics in 2006

According to estimates released today by ICv2.com at the New York Comic Con, the graphic novel outsold the traditional periodical form of comics by over 20 million dollars. ICv2 credits the increased popularity of graphic novels with younger readers and the buying of graphic novels by library systems for much of the increase.
