Shueisha Offers "Slam Dunk" Scholarship to Japanese Students

One Japanese high school graduate interested in training with basketball professionals in the United States will get that chance, thanks to a new scholarship run by Slam Dunk author Masahiko Inoue and publisher Shueisha. The rigorous six-month screening process will begin with 30 semifinalists and end with one winner of a 14-month training and playing regimen with coach Raphael Chillious at the elite South Kent School in Connecticut.
