Press Release: Disney Channel Wins At Nationwide Promax & BDA Awards In New York
BURBANK, June 29, 2006 . . . Disney Channel has been recognized at the National Promax & BDA Awards held in New York, it was announced today by Matt Palmer, Senior Vice President, Marketing, Disney Channel.
“This year, Disney ABC Cable Networks Group’s kids networks had a diverse group of many talented individuals honored for their creativity and outstanding work across multiple platforms,” said Palmer. “I’m extremely proud of our team and the 7 Gold, 4 Silver and 1 Bronze Awards we received.”
Promax Gold was awarded to Disney Channel’s Playhouse Disney for “Higglytown Real Life Heroes – Zookeeper” while Jetix was awarded one for “The Race is on Jetix Fall Campaign” and ABC Kids was honored with one for “ABC Kids Haunted House Party.”
BDA Gold honors went to Disney Channel’s “The Proud Family Movie Countdown Bug,” “Toon Disney’s Hidden Heroes Display” and DisneyChannel.com. The Jetix.tv website garnered both BDA Gold and Silver Awards.
Promax Silver went to Disney Channel for the “Go Figure” trailer while BDA Silver honors were awarded to “Toon Disney’s Pack the House” and “Toon Disney’s Passport to Reading 2005” website.
BDA Bronze was awarded to ABC Kids for “Suite Life Wake Up Promotion.”
