"South Park" Fans Urge "Mission" Boycott
Fans of Comedy Central’s series South Park have a mission they’ve decided to accept. Their mission is to get the controversial episode “Trapped in the Closet” back on the air. All they are doing is boycotting the new Tom Cruise film Mission: Impossible 3, which will arrive in theaters on May 5.
Fans say they will boycott the film unless the episode that was pulled two weeks ago for making fun of the Church of Scientology returns to the network. A petition has already been made.
Both Mission: Impossible and Comedy Central are owned by Viacom.
