Disney Channel Announces Executive Shifts

Following another record-breaking year of ratings growth and an increase in programming development for multiple global platforms, Disney Channel has announced several executive shifts.

Adam Bonnett — Disney Channel’s key original series programming executive — has been promoted to Senior Vice President, Original Series; Jeff Brustrom — the channel’s top development executive — has been named Vice President, Live-Action Series; and Emmy Award-winning animator Mike Moon will join the group as Vice President, Animated Series. All these announcements were made by Gary Marsh, President, Entertainment, Disney Channel Worldwide.

Bonnett oversees all live-action and animation development and current series for Disney Channel’s programming block for kids ages 6-14 and for the Jetix branded action/adventure block for kids ages 6-11. He was most recently Vice President, Original Series, a role he was promoted to in 2001. He joined Disney Channel in 1997 as Director of Current Programming.

Jeff Brustrom will oversee development and current programming for all live-action series on Disney Channel. He joined the team as Director in 2001.

In their new positions, Bonnett will continue to report to Marsh, while Brustrom and Moon will report to Bonnett.
