"Kim Possible" Returns, With "Replacements" (Updated 11/30)
Disney Channel has granted the wishes of devout Kim Possible fans and has resurrected the show. According to a Reuters report, Kim Possible has been greenlit for a fourth season by Disney Channel. Disney has stated that the revival was spurred in large part due to the clamors of a very active fanbase to keep the show going. Kim Possible joins a growing list of shows, including Family Guy, that have been cancelled and come back due in large part to the wishes of fans.
Also in Disney Channel’s pipeline is The Replacements, created by children’s book author Dan Santat, about a pair of orphaned siblings who order parents from a company — a superspy mom and a stuntman dad. The siblings will be voiced by industry veterans Grey Delisle and Nancy Cartwright.
Updated 11/30: Broadcasting & Cable reports that there will be twenty-two (22) episodes in the new season.
