"Little Einsteins Halloween" Premieres Saturday, October 29 on Disney Channel
A Halloween episode of the new preschool series Little Einsteins will premiere Saturday, October 29 (8:00 a.m., ET/PT) during Disney Channel’s Playhouse Disney.
In the episode entitled “Little Einsteins Halloween,” the series’ four music-loving young characters — Leo, the conductor; Annie, the singer; Quincy, the instrumental virtuoso; and June, the dancer — are planning a Halloween costume party and must find treats to share with their guests. Powered by their loyal pal, Rocket, and the theme from Edvard Grieg’s “Peer Gynt Suite, No. 1,” they embark on a magical “trick or treat” tour of European castles — barely eluding some pesky ghosts who pursue them. Their awe-inspiring journey starts with a visit to the medieval castle depicted in the Limbourg brothers’ Gothic painting, “September”; then it’s on to Buckingham Palace in London, “Mad” King Ludwig’s Neuschwanstein in Bavaria, and finally, Versailles in France. There, they discover that the ghosts are none other than some friendly instruments dressed up for the costume party. All the friends join in the Halloween fun as Leo conducts them in a performance of Grieg’s “In the Hall of the Mountain King.”
