Karen Driscoll and Lauren Elchoness Promoted at Nickelodeon

Nickelodeon has named marketing executive Karen Driscoll as Senior Vice President, Marketing and Strategic Planning; and Lauren Elchoness to Vice President, On-Air and Off-Channel Promotions Marketing.

As Senior Vice President, Driscoll will direct the brand management of Nickelodeon and Nick Jr. brands and properties such as SpongeBob SquarePants, Dora the Explorer, its recent spin-off Go Diego Go!, The Fairly OddParents, Zoey 101, and other TEENick series. Driscoll will also oversee all network advertising and will be responsible for implementing long-term strategic marketing initiatives to support TV show launches, network events, consumer product programs, and third-party promotions and partnerships. In addition, she will provide strategic direction for the development and execution of the network’s multicultural consumer marketing efforts, educational outreach, and on- and off-air events in her new role. Driscoll will also be responsible for the strategic direction and planning for promotions marketing of various on- and off-air programs, including the Nickelodeon Upfront and ad trade campaigns.

In her new role as Vice President, Elchoness will maintain responsibility for the strategic development, positioning, and execution of all Nickelodeon on- and off-channel promotions. She will direct and oversee ad sales promotions and marketing efforts; and continue to create customized opportunities and pitches for clients that meet and maximize their objectives and goals. Elchoness will also be responsible for presenting partnership alliances to promotional partners built around Nickelodeon properties, initiatives, and Nick Movies. She will also work with Nickelodeon Ad Sales to oversee relationships with partners, and foster potential growth opportunities with companies. In addition, she will collaborate with Nickelodeon’s International Marketing Group to develop and extend promotional opportunities globally to Nickelodeon advertisers.

Both women will be stationed in Nickelodeon’s New York offices and will report to Pam Kaufman, Executive Vice President, Marketing and Worldwide Promotions, Nickelodeon.
