Hong Kong Disneyland Has Crowd Problems During Pre-Opening Trial

An article in the New York Times notes that a charity day at the Hong Kong Disneyland amusement park resulted in massive overcrowding (free registration required). The near-capacity crowd of approximately 30,000 visitors faced hourlong waits for rides, food shortages, and inadequate parking. The park will do at least one more test day before its public opening on Monday.
