Ad Exec Praises Animation

Mark Tutssel, chairman of the advertising industry’s Clio Awards organization, is urging advertisers to investigate the use of animation in their commercials, AdWeek reports. Tutssel’s remarks, which were provoked by worries that people are increasingly tuning out advertising, were meant to spur advertisers into making “fresh, interesting and engaging” commercials that use creative techniques. Tutssel singled out Pixar for creating exciting visual content.
