"My Dad the Rock Star" Set for Fall DVD Release

FUNimation has acquired the domestic video rights to Gene Simmons’ new animated series My Dad the Rock Star, the company announced today, and expects to release the series to DVD this fall. Simmons has signed on to help promote the release.

The series, which chronicles the adventures of a rock star’s son who discovers the challenges of living in a small town after his dad retires, is produced by Nelvana and is currently airing weekdays on Nickelodeon.
